I agree to pay the total purchase amount according to the card issuer agreement
(merchant agreement if credit voucher). I further acknowledge and agree to
the terms and conditions listed below, posted in the store and on the POS
invoice.
General Terms of Sale
• Inspection of Product upon Receipt
You must examine the Product and Accessories when you receive them.
• Shipment and Title
PC Paramedix will arrange to ship the Product and Accessories to your address
per your request. Title to the Product and Accessories passes to you upon
delivery to the carrier and risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.
PC Paramedix Limited Warranties
All Products carried and sold by PC Paramedix are subject to manufacturer
warranty. PC Paramedix carries a 30 day limited warranty on all items. No
Refunds are allowed on clearance items. All products are to be serviced directly
by the manufacturer after the first 30 days of the original receipt.
Unless otherwise specific, OEM CPUs have a 30-day warranty against manufacturer
defect. No warranty on Software. No warranty on Software and/or hardware incompatibilities.
Damage caused by spyware, viruses, power surges, and improper use of components
in the system voids all warranties. We do not guarantee any upgrade capability
on any motherboard. PC Paramedix is not responsible for any data lost during
a repair, upgrade, install, or system build. All Warranties are in store only.
Any onsite work is extra. If product being swapped under warranty has been
discontinued, we will return the merchandise to our suppliers for exchange.
We will expedite returns to manufacturers but have no control over the manufacturer’s
turn around time.
Technical Services
For technical services performed by PC Paramedix, there will be a 90 days
warranty for labor.
Upgrade & Repair Labor: 90-day warranty
Exclusions
Under PC Paramedix Warranty & Support Program, coverage will not apply
to defects or damage resulting from:
• Improper packing during return shipment to us
• Damages for loss of data or software restoration
• Disasters such as floods, fires, winds, earthquakes or lightning
• Failure to provide proper installation environment
• Peripherals not purchased from PC Paramedix or unauthorized attachments
• Service by any other center
• Any other type of abuse, misuse, physical damage or neglect
• Or where the serial number or rating label has been removed, defaced
or altered
Manufacturer Rebate Information
Rebate and coupon offers provided by manufacturers are subject to the terms
specified by the manufacturers. Mail-in rebate amounts will NOT be deducted
from the selling price of manufacturer claim instructions.
In-Store Return, Refund & Exchange Policy
For items purchased from PC Paramedix only
• 7 Day Return: No refunds are allowed after 7 days from the date of
purchase.
• 30 Day Exchange: Most items including clearance items purchased from
PC Paramedix are eligible for an exchange on identical item of equal or lesser
value.
• Opened and non-defective items are subject to a 20% restocking fee
in any return or exchange.
All items returned or exchanged must be in a “like new” condition
with original box, packaging materials, contents, manuals, and accessories.
Missing or damaged items are subject to a special handling charge.
• PC Paramedix reserves the right to charge restocking fee to any customer
up to 40% due to excessive returns. The definition of “excessive”
is at sole discretion of PC Paramedix store manager.
• Shipping, Customs Fees (for international customers) and handling
fees are non-refundable.
• Printers can only be returned and refunded if toner/cartridge has
not been installed.
Method of Refund
Refunds or Cash or ATM purchases under $250 will be paid at the time of product
return and upon product inspection. Refunds on cash purchases in excess of
$250.00 and check purchases will be issued by check from PC Paramedix corporate
office within 14 business days* of the return
Full Systems Purchase
• Once order is placed, Full System Purchases are considered FINAL –
at which time, all standard return policies apply.
• Customers must pay half of the systems at the time a build is ordered.
The rest is collected when the system is completed.
• Estimated time of completion for system will be determined at time
of purchase.
• Customer will receive all original manuals and software upon final
pickup of the system.
• PC Paramedix does not warranty software. It is the customer’s
responsibility to learn to use what they buy
• The labor warranty is void if the warranty seal is broken
PC Paramedix Repair Services
When Customers authorize PC Paramedix to perfom repair and/or upgrade service
on their computer systems, they should assume all liability and responsibility
caused by any service. Customers should also understand the following may
occur:
• Any upgrade, repair and/or service may void the original manufacturer’s
warranty
• PC Paramedix is not responsible for any software issues
• PC Paramedix is not liable or responsible for any and all computer(s)
and/or parts left after 90 days of written notice of completion of the service,
repair and/or upgrade
• If customer has a service, repair and/or upgrade balance due or is
unpaid, the serviced computer(s) and/or parts shall become the property of
PC Paramedix after 90 days of written notice.
• PC Paramedix does not guarantee the integrity or validity of any data
transfers. Customers should back up all the data which are stored in their
computers before they are sent/released to PC Paramedix for any service.
Exclusions
Under no circumstance is PC Paramedix responsible for any incidental or consequential
damages which may occur during use of the item purchased from PC Paramedix
or as a result of the product’s failure to perform. In all cases, the
customer’s sole remedy for a product failure is limited to a replacement
product or, at PC Paramedix’s discretion, a refund not to exceed the
original purchase price of the item.
Except and to the extent expressly set forth above, there are not warranties,
expressed or implied, including , but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose and PC Paramedix expressly disclaims all
warranties not stated herin. Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion
of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty will
last. Therefore, the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This
warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights
that vary from state to state.
PC Paramedix Self-Configuration Agreement
1. I understand that I am purchasing computer components in an un-configured
state and untested by PC Paramedix (Tested by manufacturer only). I agree
that if I am unable to configure the components into satisfactory working
condition, I will pay all applicable installation and testing charges for
PC Paramedix to configure and test my system/components. I further understand
that the manufacturer’s warranties do not cover misuse or damage resulting
from improper installation by non-authorized service technicians.
2. I agree that PC Paramedix technicians are NOT required to teach me the
installation process step-by-step either in-store or by telephone. PC Paramedix
is not liable for any damage done to the computer or components resulting
from mis-installation done by the customer.
3. PC Paramedix employees are encouraged NOT to give any type of installation
assistance to customers due to liability reasons.
PC Paramedix reserves the right to modify or alter its warranty and return
